School of Opulence: Summer Youth Job Program (SYEP – Chicago)

The School of Opulence is dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ youth—especially Black and Brown youth—through career access, confidence-building, and real opportunities.

This summer, we are connecting our community to the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)—a 6-week paid opportunity designed to open doors and create pathways to success.

Selected participants MUST be available Thursday for onboarding

Who Should Apply?

We are prioritizing LGBTQ+ youth in Chicago ages 16–24, especially those who are:

  • Seeking their first job or career pathway 🌈

  • Navigating unstable housing or life transitions

  • In foster care or justice-involved systems

  • Out of school or currently unemployed

  • In need of support, structure, and opportunity

Key Dates

  • Deadline to Sign Up: Wednesday, April 22nd at 6 PM (or sooner if full)

  • Mandatory Onboarding: April 23rd, Thursday (REQUIRED)

  • Program Duration: 6 Weeks
