A proud Detroit native and the first openly transgender woman to graduate from her HBCU — Harris-Stowe State University, in St. Louis, MO. Amariah brings lived experience, cultural insight, and visionary leadership to everything she does. She previously served as Communications and Creative Director at Transformations, a Black- and trans-led organization where she led narrative campaigns centering trans resilience and liberation.

With a strong love for fashion and a commitment to authentic expression, she merges advocacy with aesthetic in bold, unapologetic ways. Whether leading summits, archiving community stories, or walking the runway, Amariah is committed to creating space for Black trans women to thrive—not just survive.
